The Better Angels is the final installment in The Someguy Series of mods for Fallout New Vegas, and is only recommended for high-level characters. With the lives of hundreds of escaped slaves at stake, the player must oversee the defense of Omega against overwhelming odds. He/she will travel to Forward Operating Base Omega, a remote, undermanned NCR outpost that will become the target of a massive Legion force. Still traumatized by the events of New Vegas Bounties III, the Courier decides to undertake one last mission before the climactic battle at Hoover Dam. It is tight and relatively brief, but it should provide a greater sense of closure for several characters and the series as a whole. It is a lean project that I produced in a few weeks, so it is free of side quests and the usual array of dialogue options. It includes elements and characters from planned but now-cancelled projects like Sinners and Slaves and The Siege of Firebase Zulu. The Better Angels is a small quest mod that is intended to wrap up various plot threads from the Someguy Series.
